Having new presidents and federal councillors every year in Switzerland can be both a good idea and helpful in promoting good politics. It allows for fresh perspectives and ideas to be brought to the table, preventing stagnation and promoting innovation in governance. Additionally, it can help to ensure a more diverse representation of the population and prevent the concentration of power in the hands of a few individuals or parties. However, frequent turnover in leadership can also lead to instability and a lack of continuity in policy-making, which may hinder long-term planning and implementation of effective policies. Therefore, while some level of turnover can be beneficial, it is important to strike a balance to ensure stability and continuity in governance. **
