The forecast for visitors from Germany to Australia in 2008 is a total of 155 000, plus 3.1% from 2007, with an expected individual spend of nearly A $ 5500, totalling almost A $ 0.9 billion. Nearly 50% of the total annual travellers from Germany are repeat visitors (source: Tourism Australia).
